Dr Melissa O’Neill is a specialist obstetrician committed to providing excellent care throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Dr O’Neill has practiced at St John of God Subiaco Hospital for almost 15 years and manages all aspects of high and low risk pregnancy, including medical disorders in pregnancy and preterm birth.

Dr O’Neill works closely with a team of midwives and experienced administration, who are just as passionate about the provision of exceptional care through this important time in a family’s life. This includes medical and midwifery pregnancy care, ultrasound assessment, labour and delivery, and postnatal care.

Dr O’Neill supports birth choices and enjoys the opportunity to plan a positive, safe, birth experience for every family under her care.

She works exclusively through St John of God Subiaco Hospital as she believes it offers exceptional care for women in labour and postnatally.

As a mother of two boys, Dr O’Neill understands the importance of individualised obstetric care and is committed to a holistic approach encompassing the emotional and medical aspects of this important journey.
