Dr Gordana Jovanova is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist who accepts referrals for clients above the age of 18. Her areas of interest include: mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), trauma and stressor-related disorders (such as PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD and ADD), anxiety disorders (including panic disorder) and alcohol related disorders.
Dr Jovanova is an accredited psychiatrist for WorkCover assessments and treatment. She only works in private practice and accepts outpatient and inpatient care of patients.
Dr Jovanova finished her initial medical training in Yugoslavia and obtained medical qualifications again in Australia as an AMA graduate. She has finished her training in psychiatry in Sydney and is now an accredited college supervisor for registrars training in Psychiatry. She has additional training in ECT, TMS and psychotherapies.
