Dr Vindya Johnston graduated from Medicine at the University of Western Australia in her home town of Perth. 

Following internship and residency at Royal Perth Hospital (during which she was awarded a Masters of Surgical Sciences from University of Edinburgh), Vindya undertook her specialist surgical training in Western Australia with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.  As a trainee Vindya spent time working in all three tertiary hospitals in Perth, followed by post fellowship training in acute surgery and breast surgery at Fiona Stanley Hospital.  

Now based full-time in Bunbury with her husband (a Bunbury local) and young children, Vindya is committed to providing efficient and compassionate care for the people of the South-West.

She has clinical interests in laparoscopic and open abdominal surgery, breast surgery, upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, perianal pathology, carpal tunnel and skin lesions
