Dr Sung Kai Chiu is dual-trained clinical and laboratory haematologist who treats patients at St John of God Midland Hospital.

Dr Chiu completed his haematology training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fremantle Hospital and then underwent further training and research into haematological malignancies at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr Chiu has a special clinical interest in myelodysplasia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, lymphoma, myeloma and haemostasis/thrombosis. His main research interest involves identifying novel therapeutic targets for haematological malignancies.
