Dr Wayne Childs is a cardiologist who treats patients at St John of God Ballarat Hospital.
Dr Childs undertook his training through Monash University where he obtained his medical degree in 2002.
His internship and medical residency was at the Geelong Hospital. Then his general medical and advanced cardiology training was done through Eastern Health in Melbourne.
In 2014, Dr Childs completed a non-invasive imaging fellowship at Monash Heart with advanced training in echo and cardiac CT.
He has also been undertaking clinical research at the Baker IDI and Alfred Heart centre.
Dr Childs has particular interests in general cardiology, echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography and cardiac CT/CT coronary angiography.
