Dr Robert Campagnaro is a respiratory, sleep and general physician at St John of God Bendigo Hospital and Bendigo Health.

Dr Campagnaro graduated from the University of Melbourne. He gained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in general, sleep & respiratory medicine in 1994.

Dr Campagnaro completed his specialist training in Melbourne at St Vincent’s Hospital, Repatriation Hospital Heidelberg and Western General Hospital.  After working overseas at Hammersmith Hospital in London, he commenced specialist practice in Bendigo in 1996.

As a specialist Dr Campagnaro requires a referral from a medical practitioner prior to consultation.  His areas of referral and expertise include shortness of breath, cough, asthma, COPD, lung cancer, bronchoscopy and sleep apnoea.

Dr Campagnaro provides both home based sleep studies and lung function testing from his rooms in Bendigo.  When clinically needed he refers to CPAP Bendigo for trials of CPAP therapy to manage sleep apnoea.
