The hospital will offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical care, including many every day and specialist treatments, such as:

  • bone, joint and muscle care (orthopaedics)
  • children’s day procedures for ages two and up
  • dental surgery
  • ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgery (otolaryngology)
  • eye care and surgery (ophthalmology)
  • general surgery
  • men's health services
  • mouth, jaw and facial surgery (maxillofacial)
  • pain management procedures
  • plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • stomach and digestive care including colonoscopy, endoscopy and gastroscopy (gastroenterology)
  • urinary and kidney care (urology)
  • women’s health and gynaecology services
  • onsite services including pathology, radiology (including MRI) and pharmacy services.

Additionally, there will be a dedicated cath lab that will provide advanced heart and vascular care close to home, reducing the need for patients to travel into the city for these procedures.
