The hospital will offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical care, including many every day and specialist treatments, such as:
- bone, joint and muscle care (orthopaedics)
- children’s day procedures for ages two and up
- dental surgery
- ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgery (otolaryngology)
- eye care and surgery (ophthalmology)
- general surgery
- men's health services
- mouth, jaw and facial surgery (maxillofacial)
- pain management procedures
- plastic and reconstructive surgery
- stomach and digestive care including colonoscopy, endoscopy and gastroscopy (gastroenterology)
- urinary and kidney care (urology)
- women’s health and gynaecology services
- onsite services including pathology, radiology (including MRI) and pharmacy services.
Additionally, there will be a dedicated cath lab that will provide advanced heart and vascular care close to home, reducing the need for patients to travel into the city for these procedures.
