FAQs

St John of God Midland Private Hospital will be located on Watertank Way, Midland within the historic railways precinct and is well connected to public transport and surrounding road networks.
It is currently under construction and expected to open in August 2026.
St John of God Midland Private Hospital has been designed to support a broad range of services. A full list of planned services is available on our Services and facilities page.
Parking for patients and visitors is planned as part of the hospital design. More information about parking will be shared closer to opening.
There will be no emergency department at the new hospital. The closest emergency department is located at the existing St John of God Midland Public Hospital.
Yes, we will be bringing our on-demand, in room dining service to the new hospital that will allow patients to order freshly prepared meals, snacks and beverages at a time that suits them.
Information about job opportunities at the new hospital will be published on the St John of God Health Care job search page. If there are no positions advertised that suit your experience and qualifications, we recommend to ‘Introduce Yourself’ (found in the top right-hand corner of the portal) where you can complete a short form and upload your CV. You will also be notified if any roles become available in the future.
