Recognised as the leading private hospital in the Barwon and
South-Western region of Victoria, St John of
God Geelong Hospital was established in 1974. Located 75
km south west of Melbourne, the hospital provide services
for the city of Geelong and reaching into rural Victoria.
The hospital has now expanded to 250 beds and provides a
range of services including an emergency department, day
surgery, medical, surgical and maternity
services, along with a 24 hour critical
care unit and Cath Lab services.
On site diagnostic and support services include medical imaging,
pathology, medical consulting suites and a pharmacy.
St John of God Geelong Hospital is a
private hospital and a division of St John of God Health
Care, one of Australia's largest health care providers.
