Research data management

The assistance we provide includes assisting research groups by developing databases and registries for specific clinical trials and research projects, identifying best practices for data collection, and the development of datasets which are structured toward maximising meaningful research outcomes.

Often this includes analysis, reporting, or visualisation of the data collected for a project. We also assist in the continuous improvement of patient care across St John of God Health Care as an organisation via integration of disparate datasets.
In order to engage in research and trials activities, the Research group at St John of God Subiaco Hospital requires a variety of data management solutions. As a part of our core research and clinical trials group, we provide data science and data management assistance to our teams which collectively aim to improve both the quality of our research, and the outcomes for all patients at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
  • Management of research and clinical trials data across the Subiaco research group to assist in the capturing of diverse datasets.
  • Development of databases and patient registries for internal groups to facilitate clinical trials and research project management.
  • Collaboration with other groups both within the SJGHC network and externally to develop data linkage and sharing solutions, aiming to provide improved patient care across the continuum of care.
