Dr Edward Litton

Dr Edward Litton is a staff specialist in Intensive Care Medicine at St John of God Subiaco Hospital and Director of ICU Research at FionaStanley Hospital. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia and a member of the executive committee of the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society Clinical Trials Group.

Dr Litton is the recipient of more than $5 million in research support. His principle areas of research include sepsis and pneumonia, high-risk patients undergoing cardiac surgery, iron metabolism in critical illness, red blood cell transfusion in critical illness, acute lung injury and sleep in critical illness.
