Genetic screening during and after pregnancy

Dr Mulroy also discusses genetic testing and important pre-pregnancy screens which your GP can arrange. One of the tests Dr Mulroy refers to is carrier screening which determines whether you carry the gene for cystic fibrosis, fragile x syndrome or spinal muscular atrophy.
