Psychiatric Pharmacology, navigating the maze

Our CPD education sessions provide general practitioners (GP) with the latest information to help them care for patients.  Join us to learn more about psychiatric medications.


Dr Jaspreet Singh will provide an overview of commonly used medications for psychiatric illnesses including antidepressants, mood stabilisers and antipsychotics.  His approach will  outline a systematic view to choosing the right medication according to symptoms and patient profile and to discuss dosage, monitoring and short term as well as long term side effects. The presentation will include latest updates as well as case vignettes to discuss common scenarios encountered in general practice.
