About Dr Sankaranarayanan
Dr Sankaranarayanan is a consultant psychiatrist with extensive experience in the assessment and management of psychiatric disorders. He has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in India, Australia, UK, Qatar and Canada. Having worked in different cultures, he is skilled in assessing and managing people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
He is experienced in adult and older adult mental health and sees patients over the age of 17 years. He has expertise in assessing and managing all psychiatric conditions in adults and older adults including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, psychotic disorders and dementias. He is also an accredited psychiatrist for Work Cover assessment.
Apart from clinical practice, he has researched and published in peer-reviewed journals and has a keen interest in evidence based practice.
