Vaughans baby number three our first for 2023

Good things come in threes. Proud parents Marissa and Ian Vaughan now have a slightly new take on the saying.

Marissa and Ian welcomed their third child, a beautiful baby boy, Michael Marius Vaughan on 3 January 2023. Michael was the first baby born at St John of God Murdoch Hospital in 2023, arriving at 4.55am after a fairly swift labour.

"We arrived at the Hospital in the early hours, and he was here just over an hour later!' Marissa said. "A special shout out to midwife, Mandy. She knew we were in for a quick labour when we arrived, so she whisked us straight through to the birthing suite. It was wonderful to be in such comforting and expert hands right from the get go."

"We are so grateful and happy to have our beautiful and healthy, Michael with us. What a wonderful way to start 2023."

Baby Michael joins elder sister, Isla (5) and brother, William (3) who were also born at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
