Radiation oncology project

Plans for a new cancer facility at St John of God Murdoch Hospital have been announced to enhance patient access to comprehensive cancer care in Perth’s southern suburbs.

A $17 million agreement between St John of God Murdoch Hospital and GenesisCare, Australia’s leading provider of cancer services, will see Centuria Healthcare, an Australasian real estate funds manager, fund the development of the first private radiation oncology facility in the southern metropolitan area by late-2021.

Preliminary works began in August, with services due to open in early 2022.
