St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital Caregiver Living Values Winner Marilyn MascurineExecutive Chef Anton Sanmuganthan and Patient Food Services Administration Officer Gaylene Evans both nominated Marilyn for reflecting the value of excellence.

Gaylene says Marilyn, who is a night supervisor in the Patient Food Services Department is incredibly hardworking and efficient.

“The night shift can be incredibly busy as we are working with similar work flows, with a smaller team,” says Gaylene.

“Marilyn just takes it all in her stride, always looking out for others and making sure the shift is running smoothly.

“She is also often the first one to organise collections to either celebrate or support her fellow workers, and I saw this as a great opportunity to shine the light back onto Marilyn and her efforts.”

Anton is also appreciative of the important role Marilyn plays in the effective and efficient running of the kitchen.

“I am proud to say that I rely on Marilyn and her ability to make sure that at the end of each shift, things are exactly as they need to be – her attention to detail is excellent,” says Anton.

“Even when everyone want some of her time, she stays cool, calm and professional.

“She is such a deserving person and I am glad to be able to support and acknowledge what a valuable asset she is to our team.”
