Anna wins August Caregiver Living Values Award

Nominated by Tania Price and Deb Fleming from the Admissions team, Anna is recognised for always being available, helpful and supportive in all situations. 

Deb says Anna is known throughout the hospital for her care and compassion, and willingness to ‘lean in’ when help is needed. 

“Anna demonstrates all our values, including excellence, hospitality, justice, respect and compassion,” says Deb. 

“She is always happy to help out, and goes above and beyond to help our team and our patients. 

“The other day, a patient came in and during admission and told us he had been through radiation that morning. 

“Rather than making him sit in the waiting area, where he was clearly quite exhausted, I called Anna who promptly came with a wheelchair and took him up to a bed. 

“This kindness makes a huge impact on people when they need support and comfort. 

“Her team are vocal about how much they appreciate having Anna as a manager and have spoken of how she leads by example and is a pleasure to have as a manager.”
