“In her position as ward clerk in the Family Birthing Unit, Lesley is a great face of our hospital,” says Sandy.
“I always see her with a big smile and I know many mums and dads are extremely grateful for her warm and friendly greeting.
“I believe she goes above and beyond what is expected and is a great asset to St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital.
“She truly embodies the value of Excellence.”
Midwifery Manager, Emma Cook, says Lesley is a valuable member of the Family Birthing Unit team.
“As one of our ward clerks, Lesley is responsible for admissions, bookings for inductions, booking families in for antenatal education classes and also deals with the myriad enquiries that come through each day,” says Emma.
“Her organisational skills and willingness to help everyone is something I admire as it adds to the experience families have when coming to our Family Birthing Unit to have their baby.”
Lesley was nominated for demonstrating ‘Excellence’ – one of SJG Health Care’s values that form the basis of how we care for our patients, their families and others visiting our hospital.
Well done Lesley!
