Mark Day wins June award

Mark was nominated by his manager Rob Falls for always being determined to seek out better ways of doing things and for demonstrating the St John of God Health Care Value of Excellence.

Rob said Mark is ever resourceful and innovative in his approach and has particularly added great value to the hospital's asset management, painting and security projects.

"Mark is composed under fire, never without a smile and is always willing to help. He is a true team player with unquestionable loyalty, who has earned the respect of both his team and colleagues,” said Rob.

Mark, who has worked at the hospital for four years, was humble in accepting the award.

“I’m fortunate to work with a great team of people and I appreciate the incredible encouragement and support I receive from management,” Mark said.

Director of Mission Mario Bugna said that Mark Day and the engineering team are a great example of the hard work that takes place behind the scenes of the hospital.

“Mark has demonstrated that he is a worthy recipient, going above and beyond the call of duty in everything he does,” said Mario.
