Our continence clinic provides support and assistance if you experience urinary or faecal incontinence while in hospital or after you are discharged.

Incontinence describes any accidental or involuntary loss of urine from the bladder (urinary incontinence) or bowel motion, faeces or wind from the bowel (bowel incontinence).

Incontinence is a widespread condition that can be treated and managed. In many cases it can also be cured.

  • teaching intermittent self-catheterisation, self-dilatation
