Calls for Consumer Advisory Group members

St John of God Geelong Hospital considers partnerships with our consumers as integral to the development of patient-centered care.

We look to address the needs and preferences of our consumers, carers and their families by seeking out, understanding and responding to experiences and expectations about their health care.

Our Consumer Advisory Group meets on a regular basis and is a key part of this consultative process. Members are representatives of the local community and have experienced hospital care either as a patient or carer of someone who has used our services.

The members provide a consumer or carers’ perspective and feedback about a variety of hospital outcomes and services.
