- Consumer engagement
Our primary source of consumer engagement is the contribution we receive from our Patient Consumer Group.
The group meets quarterly and offers valuable, objective feedback on:
- the quality of hospital information, publications and brochures (for example, whether they are easy to understand and meet the needs of patients and visitors)
- patient safety and quality performance measures
- service reviews through other hospital committees.
Each member of the group has been a patient at our hospital in the past or has visited family or friends in our care.
We also have community representation within our hospital’s other committees.
