A message from Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, the Hon David Coleman MP, on the opening of Midland Head to Health adult walk-in mental health centre.

The centre, which is being operated by St John of God Health Care, is part of an Australian Government initiative to trial a number of adult mental health centres nationally, to improve access to mental health services for people experiencing distress and whose condition may be too complex for many existing primary care services, but don’t meet the criteria for acute services.
