Dr Oloffs graduated from the University of Calgary, Canada in 1987 as a Medical Doctor. He completed his internship with Dalhousie University Nova Scotia, Canada in 1988.
He commenced the SWSAHS Overseas Doctors Training Program and with additional training he was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians 2010 with advanced training in palliative medicine.
