Dr Preeti Nair is a dual trained Rheumatologist and Geriatrician. She completed training in both these specialties in Perth, WA.
She also gained a fellowship in lifestyle medicine with the Australian society of lifestyle medicine in 2022 and is certified in the science of well-being through Yale University, USA. She also holds lifestyle medicine certification with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
In 2019, her interest in patient-centered care led her to a research fellow position at the prestigious Royal National Hospital in Bath, a
center of excellence in Rheumatology.
As a Rheumatologist her special interest is the role of lifestyle medicine in the management of chronic diseases. Especially those diseases that are not as well understood such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and post viral syndromes such as long covid.
She believes that better outcomes can be achieved through multimodal multidisciplinary holistic care models.
