Dr. Tulip Chowdhury is a highly qualified General Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). She began her medical journey by earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2002 in Bangladesh. After graduating, Dr. Chowdhury worked for several years in Bangladesh, gaining valuable clinical experience.

Seeking further professional development, Dr. Chowdhury moved to the United Kingdom, where she served for a year as a house officer at West Wales General Hospital. In late 2007, she relocated to Australia to continue her medical career. She completed her specialist general surgical training in Melbourne with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, further honing her expertise in the field.

Dr. Chowdhury undertook a year-long general surgical fellowship at Bendigo Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in both elective and emergency surgery across the broad spectrum of general surgery. Over the past five years, she has contributed her skills to the public sector, working with Bendigo Health and Echuca Regional Health.
