Dr Zara Amer is an Australian based Nephrologist / kidney Specialist, who was trained at Westmead Hospital network and St George hospital and attained her fellowship with Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).  She also has training experience in Acute Care and General Medicine.

She is currently working as consultant Visiting Medical Officer at St John of God Hawkesbury District Health Service. She provides consulting services in Chatswood, Smithfield and Windsor renal clinics.  

Her Masters of Medicine studies in Clinical Epidemiology are very useful in understanding the quality of medical literature for implementing into clinical practice and individualising the therapy.

She teaches medical students of Notre Dame University and supervises physicians trainees and resident medical officers at St John of God Hawkesbury District Health Service.

Dr Amer is attending American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Board Review Course and Transplant and Nephrology Annual Course and Scientific Meeting (ASM) by Australasian and NZ Society of Nephrology (ANZSN) for most uptodate knowledge and management options for renal conditions.
