South West Coronary and Cancer Care Service

This service delivers high quality cardiac and cancer investigation and treatment services for public and private patients in the South West, at one location.

Achievements from the past 12 months include:

• over 190 cancer patients and their family members stayed in the South West Cancer Accommodation Centre in 2015/16
• over 3150 treatments provided in the chemotherapy unit
• over 500 cardiac angiography and angioplasty procedures were performed in 2016
• more than 355 cardiac patients received care in the coronary care unit in 2016.
