St John of God
Raphael Services support parents and families affected by
anxiety, stress, or depression during pregnancy and following
Building on St John of God Health Care’s
expertise in maternity services and an ongoing commitment to the
best care for babies and families, Raphael Services offer
mental health care to families from conception until the child is
four years of age. Staffed by mental health clinicians, Raphael
Services support individuals and families where the parent is
experiencing a mental health disorder or where there are
parent-infant relationship issues.
Raphael Services welcome clients from all communities and
all cultural backgrounds. Our services are available free of charge
or at minimal cost as part of St John of God Health Care's
commitment to Social Outreach.

The St John of God Social Outreach Early Years team will take its Connected Parenting Training Program to Australia’s Top End next month with a series of free training sessions in rural and remote Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
St John of God Raphael Services in Blacktown has celebrated a special anniversary during the month of July 2015 - five years of providing secondary mental health care to parents and families in need.
To facilitate the rapid and significant growth planned for Raphael Services in Western Australia, on 1 July 2015 (i.e. the beginning of the new financial year) the two existing teams joined forces to become one.

staff are available to give you the support you need.
Every community is different and each Raphael Service aims
to respond to the needs of people in the most appropriate way.
