St John of God Halswell is a specialist service providing long term residential support for people with physical and neurological disabilities, aged between 16 and 65 years old, in both hospital and community home settings. The service has been providing health and disability services from the Christchurch suburb of Halswell since 1970.

The service aims to fill unmet need, be innovative and improve the quality of life of clients.

Its mission is to maximise the quality of life for people with physical and age related disabilities and those with terminal illnesses. Integral to the care it provides are the Values of Hospitality, Compassion, Respect, Justice and Excellence.

The service, originally owned by the Hospitaller Order of St John of God, is a not for profit Charitable Trust and merged with St John of God Health Care in July 2007.
