We are committed to providing our patients, visitors, caregivers and volunteers with a smoke free site. Research indicates that workplace smoking bans reduce the prevalence of Environmental Tobacco Smoke, reduces the daily consumption amongst smokers and increases participation in cessation programs.
Smoking is not be permitted on our property - smoking cessation support will be available to patients.
Caregivers who smoke and who would like to quit or cease smoking whilst at work are able to apply to access an 8 - 10 week course of Nicotine Replacement Therapy for free. Please contact the Occupational Safety and Environment Unit on extensions 6887 or 623 with any inquiries.
