The report below contains only Gap Items applicable to St John of God Health Care's hospitals.
This list should be checked on a regular basis as it will be updated whenever a supplier increases the cost of a prosthesis to a hospital to a level exceeding the minimum benefit paid by the Health Fund for that prosthesis.
The prostheses list of deleted items below lists items removed by the Government which will therefore not receive a benefit/rebate from health funds. You can check with the supplier company or hospital for an alternative product.
The St John of God Health Care Ethics Committee functions as both a Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and a Clinical Ethics Committee.
