St John of God Health Care offers ongoing development for all staff members through various programs that include support for study, attendance at training courses, conferences and seminars. All education sessions are advertised and staff are encouraged to attend.
Graduate Nurse Program A Graduate Nurse program has been established for recent graduates to benefit from a hospital environment. The program was designed to enable graduates to master their new role and to grow both personally and professionally. This will be achieved through a mentor/buddy relationship where graduates may acquire and consolidate skills and reflect on their nursing practice.
Entry Requirements 1. Current practising certificate for Registered Nurse Division 1 with less than one year clinical post graduate experience 2. Selection criteria met for Grade 1 Registered Nurse 3. Successful interview.
