The development of St John of God Pathology
Victoria is part of our continuing pathology service expansion in
the eastern states of Australia. The service represents a different
approach to the problems of rural pathology and rural medicine by
establishing a network of small laboratories with the main aim of
serving regional hospitals, both private and public. This is a sign
of our commitment to provide services that reflect the Vision and Mission of the Sisters of St John of God.
St John of God Pathology is an operating division of St John of God Health Care, which is a
leading provider of health and community services, with hospitals,
pathology and outreach services
throughout Australia and in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is
Australia's largest Catholic not-for-profit private healthcare
group employing in excess of 8,880 people nationally.
