St John of God
Waipuna Early Childhood Centre caters for children from birth to
five years, with emphasis on supporting and building confidence in
the pregnancy and parenting skills of young parents.
We use Te Whariki, Early Childhood Curriculum
as the basis for planning and providing experiences for your
children.
In order to provide quality interactions with
our children, we offer a low child-teacher ratio of one teacher to
every four children in the nursery and one teacher for eight
children in the over 2’s area.
We employ trained and experienced professional
Early Childhood teachers with a passion for working with
tamariki.

Opening hours
Open 8.30am – 2.30pm, Monday to Friday,
excepting public holidays and two weeks over Christmas.
Fees
Fees are $3.63 per hour, with up to 20 hours
free Early Childhood Education for 3-5 year olds.
Childcare subsidies are available through Work
and Income New Zealand.
