Churinga Employment Support Service (CHESS)
Churinga Employment Support Service is a nationally accredited
provider of supported employment for people with a disability. At
CHESS we have a dedicated and professional team whose focus is
building on the dreams and aspirations of each person.
We are an Australian Disability Enterprise within St John of God
Accord. We ensure:
- Professional workmanship
- Value for money with competitive prices
- Meaningful supported employment for people with an intellectual
disability
Our experience has shown that possibilities are endless,
especially when people form life-long friendships and reach heights
they didn't think imaginable. The team under the ironing service
has been together for a very long time and enjoy providing the
service. Job satisfaction and morale is high and its success
is well recognised by the community they support.
CHESS employment consultants work with employees in assisting
them to reach their full potential. We offer employees regular
job related training. We actively promote our employees' rights to
decide on the future direction of their career through
individualised, real and workable objectives. Support is
a significant part of the way CHESS works. Positive support
and encouraging feedback serves to empower people with the
confidence and inspiration to be the best they can be.
