Accord Community Engagement Services East
ACES Eastern
ACES Eastern assists people to develop a personal plan
incorporating their dreams and aspirations in retirement.
Enjoy life as a senior citizen
This specialist program is unique in providing support for
senior citizens with a disability. As people age they may
require greater flexibility to participate in integrated
programs offering a diverse range of recreation and leisure
options designed to meet each person's specific needs. At ACES
Eastern the starting point for all group programs is with personal
choice and group activities are designed around common interests.
The service considers individual circumstances and interests rather
than what a particular pre-designed program has to offer.
Accessing ACES East
Persons over the age of 55 with disabilities who live in the
outer eastern metropolitan region of Melbourne can access the
program. If you are interested, contact ACES Eastern (formerly
known as Archway) directly or the intake worker from the DHS
Regional Client Services team.
The service operates from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday for
46 weeks a year. Fees are set in accordance with transport, program
and activity requirements.
