About our Op Shops

As a retail outlet in the community, we are genuinely inclusive of people with disability, putting policies into practice. Our retail outlets, though supported by volunteers, recognise the business relevance of providing work opportunities for people with an intellectual disability. We are recognising what they CAN do and are addressing barriers to employment or experience for people with an intellectual disability.

We are committed to implement strategies that include and support diversity in the workforce. The aims and objectives of our Op Shops are to:

  • Take our Hospitality into the community by helping many people in need
  • Provide a friendly and supportive place for volunteers and clients to work
  • Make a profit to fund client focused programs currently unmet by our funding bodies

For more information about our Op Shops or to find out how to join our team as a volunteer please contact the Op Shops Manager, Mr Robert Dobin, on (03) 8804 4600. Volunteers at some of our stores support or work alongside people with an intellectual disability, providing everyone with opportunity.
