Health Services Centre
Our new $6.4 million Health Services Centre opened in April
2010, bringing even more health care services to the
communities of South West Victoria. The Centre represents the
hospital's most significant expansion since its major
redevelopment in 1994.
The purpose-built facility caters for inpatients and
outpatients and is linked to the hospital via a bridge
and lift, enabling patients and visitors easy access to and
from the hospital and centre.
Our rehabilitation, mental health, diabetes and dietetics
services are now located in the Health Services Centre. As
part of the new Centre, these services have been expanded and now
include:
- gymnasium with overhead hoist tracking
- occupational therapy kitchen
- therapy rooms
- hydrotherapy pool
- specialist consulting suites
- art and music therapy rooms
- specialist consulting suites
- group therapy rooms
- garden area for the enjoyment of patients and visitors
