Glyn PalmerGlyn Palmer
Chief Executive Officer

Glyn Palmer joined St John of God Warrnambool Hospital in May 2009. Glyn’s appointment to the role of Chief Executive Officer marks his return to St John of God Health Care after a six year hiatus. Glyn previously held roles as Chief Executive Officer of St John of God Murdoch Hospital and Director of Nursing at St John of God Subiaco Hospital. His strong healthcare background also includes a four year stint in the West Australian public health care sector and two years as a Health Care Consultant.

Leanne McPhersonLeanne McPherson
Director of Nursing

Leanne was appointed Director of Nursing in May 2009. Prior to this appointment she spent 10 years working in the hospital's peri-operative (theatre) department. Leanne brings a wealth of experience in both the public and private health care sectors. She has previously acted in the role of Chief Executive Officer at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital.

Anne Maree MugavinAnne Maree Mugavin
Director of Mission

Anne Maree Mugavin has been with St John of God Warrnambool Hospital for 25 years, and was appointed Director of Mission in 2002. Anne Maree holds qualifications in nursing, management, quality management and theology. Anne Maree works with the hospital team to ensure a culture of patient-centred care and a positive working environment for caregivers. She believes it is a privilege to provide care to those who entrust us with their needs. Anne Maree’s strong commitment to social justice is demonstrated by her involvement with several community organisations which provide support to marginalised individuals.

Kim WhiteKim White
Workforce and Quality Manager

Kim began working with St John of God Warrnambool Hospital 15 years ago as a Registered Nurse, and has since held roles as Nurse Coordinator and Staff Development and Quality Coordinator. Kim completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Deakin University Warrnambool and undertook a graduate nurse program at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Health Management from RMIT and is currently completing her Masters of Business Administration with Deakin University.
      

Renee KennaRenee Kenna
Patient Services Manager

Renee has been with St John of God Warrnambool Hospital for nine years. Renee is a progressive thinker who has recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Business and is now working towards her Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA). Renee is the youngest member of the Divisional Management Committee.

Paul JohnsonPaul Johnson
Maintenance Engineer

Paul began his career as an apprentice electrician in the public sector and progressed to the role of Assistant Engineer over a period of 16 years. Following a six month stint as Shift Engineer with the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, Paul was appointed as Maintenance Engineer of St John of God Warrnambool Hospital in 1994. Paul brings over 30 years experience in the health care industry and is a valuable member of the Leadership and Management Team.

John ParkinsonJohn Parkinson
Community Relations/Mental Health Manager 

John began his career in mental health in 1974 as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in a large psychiatric hospital. During his nursing he gained ongoing formal education focusing on alternative therapies - aside from medical intervention - such as Family Therapy and Psychosocial methods. In 1999, John changed career paths, part owning a successful fast food business for six years before re-entering the mental health field. In 2007, he developed the Mental Health Service at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital, which included the Raphael Centre, which had been in operation for 12 months. 

Andrea GashAndrea Gash
Finance Manager

 

Andrea began her accounting career in Brisbane with the Queensland State Government and completed her Chartered Accounting in 2008. She has worked for accounting/taxation firms in country New South Wales and Victoria. Andrea began working for St John of God Warrnambool Hospital in December 2008.
