Clinical Trials

We work in close collaboration with Oncologists who refer suitable patients looking for different methods of treatment which are beyond the standard model of care.

Through consultation with their Oncologist, patients can opt to go on clinical trial studies which often involves the random allocation of medication to determine specific cancer related outcomes.

If a patient is suitable to join a study, they must undergo screening procedures and commit to routine visits at the Bendat Family Comprehensive Cancer Centre for assessment and monitoring.

The Unit consists of a team of eight staff coordinating all aspects of numerous clinical trials whilst working very closely with research groups and pharmaceutical companies.
