Services for children
We
provide extra special care to ensure your stay is as
smooth and enjoyable as possible. Our staff specialise in caring
for children and adolescents and are committed to providing
individual care and attention to ensure their stay is as
comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Facilities
Our facilities are designed with
children/adolescents in mind and include recreational
activities such as Nintendo, Playstation, DVD, board games and
puzzles.
The service cares for
children/adolescents with a wide range of medical and
surgical conditions and we offer a special menu to suit
their needs.
Accommodation is offered in private rooms with
ensuite facilities and availability for a boarder. Where
possible, children/adolescents of similar ages can be
accommodated together as there is evidence they cope better with
their hospital stay when there are other
children/adolescents to interact with and
share experiences. Shared accommodation is limited and subject
to availability.
