Psychotic disorders
A holistic approach - focusing on physical, mental,
emotional and spiritual wellbeing
The psychotic disorders program is a combination of simplified
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and diversional activities
adapted to meet the needs of patients with severe psychosis - to
help with symptoms such as disturbances in thought and
perception which occur and impact negatively on
social and emotional responses.
In addition to a carefully tailored medication regime, the
program is designed to help people understand the nature of their
disorder, develop effective strategies to manage their symptoms and
to reduce the likelihood of relapse.
