mental and emotional well being. The group therapy program is based
on the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model, which is one of
the leading evidence-based treatments for anxiety and depression
disorders.
Evidence based group programs include learning
how to challenge and change negative thoughts patterns, manage
negative feelings, build self esteem and use relaxation exercise
effectively.
A team of psychologists, nurses and other
allied health professionals work with patients, both individually,
and primarily in a group therapy setting.
