Driving policy
For the safety of our patients, the community and other road
users, we have a 'no driving' policy for patients admitted to
the hospital. This policy is intended to reduce the risk of
medicated patients operating vehicles while under our care.
Pinelodge Clinic will inform and explain this policy to all
inpatients as part of the admissions process. While we do
not want to complicate patients' transport requirements,
we hope patients understand the necessity for such a
policy.
Public transport
There is limited public transport to the hospital, via a bus
service along Heatherton Road, which is operated by Grenda's Bus
Services.
Grenda's 811 Brighton bound / 850 Glen Waverly bound buses
leave Dandenong Station, Monday to Saturday.
