Accommodation
A major refurbishment of Pinelodge Clinic was undertaken in
2009, resulting in modern, contemporary accommodation. The hospital
offers single or twin rooms with comfortable ensuite
facilities. You may also enjoy our relaxing, light filled
quiet room and outside courtyard.
Nurse call system
Beside every bed is a nurse call bell. Do not hesitate to use
the nurse call system if you or another patient requires
assistance.
Telephone
Most rooms have telephones and local calls are free. You can
also buy phone cards from the reception office. Mobile and camera
phones are not permitted. Patients of the hospital's Alcohol &
Drug Dependency Unit are not permitted to use telephones during the
first week of their stay. After that time, they will be given a
private phone in their room.
Fire procedures
The hospital employs state of the art systems to respond to
emergencies. If you become aware of a fire alarm within the
hospital, follow the instructions of nursing staff. If you are not
in your normal ward area, report to caregivers in the area nearest
to you and they will take care of you. Do not use the lifts and do
not attempt to return to your ward. Regular fire procedure training
is provided to all caregivers.
