Accreditation process
The office of the Chief Executive Officer/Director of Nursing is
the primary point of contact for any queries regarding
accreditation of medical practitioners and psychiatrists.
Applications for credentialing to provide services at St John of
God Pinelodge Clinic should be directed to the Chief Executive
Officer/Director of Nursing.
The hospital's Medical Advisory Committee and Chief Executive
Officer/Director of Nursing consider all applications. Interim
approval may be granted until the next meeting of the Credentials
Committee. The applicant will be notified of interim approval and
sent a copy of the hospital by-laws. If their application is
unsuccessful they may be advised to resubmit their application.
Once an application is formally considered and approved by the
Credentials Committee, the applicant is notified of the terms and
conditions of credentialing.
Application for accreditation
To apply for accreditation to St John of God Pinelodge Clinic,
please request an application form from the Chief
Executive/Director of Nursing on 8793 9444.
The hospital's by-laws require that evidence of professional
indemnity and medical registration is sighted annually. Copies of
these documents should be forwarded to the Chief Executive
Officer/Director of Nursing as they come to hand.
