Meet our executive team

                 Graham Cadd 2010 shot                       Graham Cadd, Chief Executive Officer / Director of Nursing
Graham Cadd took up this position in June 2005 after 13 years as Executive Director and Executive Director/Director of Nursing at a major private psychiatric hospital.  Graham is a Registered General and Psychiatric Nurse, and has contributed to the Australian Government's Ministerial Advisory Committee on Mental Health and the Steering Committee for the Evaluation of the National Mental Health Strategy. He has also chaired the Psychiatric Sub Committee of the Private Hospital's Association of Victoria for many years. He is currently a member of the National Mental Health Standards Implementation Working Group – Public Mental Health and Private Hospitals. Graham is highly regarded for his clinical and leadership experience.

 

                                        Karan Smith, Director of Mission

Karan Smith 2010 shotKaran brings a diversity of experience to the role of Director of Mission. She began her career in health care practising as a registered nurse and midwife. She gained experience in hospital and community based services in Australia, which included working with Indigenous based health services in Western Australia and overseas in Pakistan, where she worked as a midwife setting up antenatal clinics and nurse education. After completing a BA in Education and Theology from Australia and MA in Pastoral Leadership from Ireland, Karan returned to Pakistan where she worked with the Sisters of St John for 12 years. In this role, she was actively engaged in community development and the design and implementation of projects aimed at resource and capacity building. She worked for several years in Lahore as Director of a Formation Program for young women. Karan took up the role of Director of Mission in 2006. She has a strong commitment to service and to the development of an organisational culture that reflects the values of St John of God Health Care.

               

                                        Neelofar Rehman, Director of Allied Health & Therapy Programs

Neelofar Rehman 2010 shotNeelofar started her career in Pakistan as an Educationist and Clinician after completing her Masters and Post Masters qualifications in Applied and Clinical Psychology. She was a faculty member at the Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of Punjab, and Kinnaird College for Women. In her private practice she worked with the Sisters of St John of God and other Catholic orders as a consultant. Neelofar completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Melbourne and has worked as a clinician in both public and private sectors in Melbourne. She has a strong focus on service development and has been actively involved in developing and implementing specialised group therapy programs.    

 

                                        Kerrie Gibbons, General Services Manager

Kerrie Gibbons has been working in private hospitals for over 20 years. She has a Diploma of Applied Science and a Graduate Diploma of Education. Kerrie has held a number of different roles in the private health sector including Marketing, Executive Assistant and Administration Manager. Kerrie worked at Pinelodge prior to St John of God Health Care acquiring the facility in March 2005. She is currently responsible for Patient Services, Consulting Suites, Catering and Environmental Services.
