Becoming a volunteer at the hospital

Volunteers are a valuable and complementary part of our hospital, providing an important and valued service to patients, relatives, visitors and caregivers.

At St John of God Nepean Rehabilitation Hospital, our volunteer caregivers are involved in a range of activities, including:

  • Flower arranging
  • Mobile library
  • Games and activities
  • Greet and assist new patients
  • Assisting with the Cardiac Program
  • Administrative tasks

We aim to provide work that is meaningful, challenging and rewarding so that volunteers know they are making a difference, whilst learning and developing new skills. The volunteer program is managed by the Director of Mission.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please call us on 9788 3333 or email jim.curtain@sjog.org.au
